The "Bicemo prvaci sveta" project was a massive and unique undertaking. The producer revealed that it was a , beginning with extensive research across the entire territory of the former Yugoslavia. This research was followed by the creation of a 24-episode documentary series and a separate documentary film, both of which aired on RTS (Radio Television of Serbia). Only after the documentary phase was completed did the production of the feature film begin.
