If you have auto-save states enabled on ePSXe closure, the emulator might overwrite your memory card changes upon exiting. Disable "Autosave on Exit" in the emulator preferences before setting up your new memory card.

Paste the file into the memcards folder. If you are replacing an old file, make sure to back it up first. Configure ePSXe: Open ePSXe. Go to Config > Memory Cards .
Ensure the save file matches your game’s region. A European (PAL) save will not work with a US (NTSC-U) ROM, and vice versa. Check the ROM filename: Tekken 3 (USA).bin requires a US save.
